Decade Computer Services, Inc.
Product History
Full Mobile Product Line...
Since 1980, Decade Computer has focused exclusively on
mobile computers. Desktop production was halted as prices (and consequently
margins) plummeted and little product differentiation could be achieved.
By narrowing their concentration, Decade was able to make advances in the
mobile computing category ahead of their competitors. To this day, Decade
focus remains on the mobile market. It is expected that by 1998, more than
60% of all computers sold will be mobile computers. As this product segment
continues to evolve, Decade will continue to develop highly innovative
products that will drive the segment to higher adoption levels.
